To make Oriens more transparent to our shareholders, we have decided to launch an Investors Community within Oriens corporate web site for fellow shareholders to share their comments and suggestions by posting in this blog. We at management are working hard to build our dream which is to make Hotel PURE becoming an Internationally recognizable hotel chain, such as Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, Best Western and other branded hotel chain, having multiple hotel locations around the world. Great job on getting the hotels online! Also on hotelpure.com you have the same picture onArenal Paraiso Resort as on L’acquaviva Resort, and can you tell me how it’s going on getting the financials out at pinksheets.com

I was just concerned how tropical storm hanna and other hurricanes coming thru has an effect on the tourism in costa rica, and what is being done about it.

The hurricanes only affected the Caribbean countries and moved on to the Eastern seaboard. Hurricanes seldom come into Central America.
Tourism in Costa Rica is expected to increase by 20% this year, that is up from 1.9 million visitors in 2007 to 2.4 million in 2008, schedule flights by AA, United, Frontier, Spirit and Continental have already increased due to demand.

HOTELpure people, the website is coming along VERY well !! I saw today’s news about the 5 new HOTELpure GREEN additions, and went out to browse the site. WOW !!! it is getting easier to use, has MUCH MORE info on each hotel, is EASY to navigate…..GREAT design and execution. Ken, great job. Let’s get the financials done and see the interest in this venture start to pick up.

According to our last investigation, OTHM has roughly 2500 shareholders.
We have not done any investigation recently, so we cannot tell you if that number have gone up or down.

How is the venture into China going now that the Olympics are over?

We are going to leave China alone for the time being. There are 2 major reasons; (1) The exceptionally good progress we are making in the Central America/Caribbean region that makes us dedicating more resources toward this area, there is a old saying, you always go where you can see where the money is (2) More and more corruptions in China makes us believe this might not be the right time to go into the country, because people in China are short sighted and only interested in what they can make today, not 2 years from now.
